Today's Guest: Crafting and Creativity

Hi, I'm Sarah and I'm so excited to be here at Pocket Full of Pink today! I just love Karen's blog!
I am a 20-something mom of 2. My son is just about 4 and my daughter is 19 months old.
I love to craft, scrapbook, re-purpose items, paint things white, and organize!
I spend too much time getting inspiration from Pinterest.
I drink too much diet coke. And I love the color pink!
I also enjoy blogging and sharing my latest projects over at my blog, Crafting and Creativity.

Here are a few faves of mine.....

I made this DIY Jewelry Holder using a cabinet door, paint, mod podge, and wrapping paper!

These Heart Map Shadowbox Frames were made using dollar store shadowboxes. I love this easy way to remember a couple places that are special to me & the hubby. And the pair of them cost under $3 to make!

After my daughter was born, I discovered a new crafting obsession- making all types of fabric flowers, like these Easy Felt Flowers:

And like I said, it's kind of an obsession! I have made more DIY Fabric Flowers than I dare count. But they are so easy to make and they can be added to just about anything! They are also oh so pretty! :)

I hope to see you all at Crafting and Creativity real soon!
Karen, thanks so much for having me!!

Thanks for stopping by Sarah!  Her blog is adorable, so stop by and take a look at all her creativity!

Let it SNOW! Picture Frame {Tutorial} repost

Today I am home sick from church.  I want to craft, but since I am feeling kinda crappy, I will show you one from last year.  I hardly had ANY followers last year, so I figure you probably haven't seen it:)

This Picture Frame craft was so EASY and CHEAP!  I don't mean cheap looking, just inexpensive....

Here is what I did:

I went to Joann's and bought a 5 x7 frame for 60% off, but you probably have one laying around your house, or you could buy one at goodwill.  That's what I usually do, but I was at Joann's and Yea, I gave in to the sale.  It cost me like $5.99.

Then I went to the gift wrap section and bought a cheap Christmas gift bag.  I think it was 60% off too!  It cost me like 1.29 or something.

I went home, cut out a 5 x 7 piece of the gift bag and put it in the frame.

Now for the next step, you could do several things!  I have a Cricut, so I cut out the "Let it Snow."  You could use rub ons, cut out letters with cardstock and glue them on....there are so many possibilities!  I put my vinyl on the outside of the glass.  SOOOO EASY!

This cost me about $7.50, not counting the vinyl.  I already had it.  Not bad, huh?  This would be a great gift too!

I am putting this on my mantle.  I'm wishing for SNOW......

I'm Sick! {But I got my Netbook!}

****Sorry there was no Friday Frolic this week!  I will start back up next Friday!!

Thanksgiving was fun! We had both our families over.  I soaked the Turkey in a brine this year and WOW it turned out fantastic!  Everyone loved it!!

I felt like I was coming down with a cold, but Thanksgiving night, I really wanted to stand in line at Target to get this:

What a night I tell you!  I stood in line for 3 1/2 hours in the cold and some rain, but I got my net book!

Now I am paying  for it!  I have the worst cold I have had in a while. So I have pretty much been in bed for the last few days.

Did you all do any crazy like that on Black Friday?  I want to know what you all got!  Any fabulous deals?
